Today I'm taking a moment to stop and reflect as I write this post about who I truly am, what my core values and goals are in life, and to see where I'm missing the mark. I believe that I need to live my life intentionally not just in a busy chaos dictated by circumstances. Today I'd like to encourage my readers to take a quiet moment to reflect, pray, recenter. What does living intentionally mean to you? Do you also feel it is important?
There is a verse in the Bible that means a lot to me that helps me to stay balanced. I'd like to share it here, Micah 6:8
He has shown you, O mortal, what is good.
And what does the LORD require of you?
To act justly and to love mercy
and to walk humbly with your God.
You'll find the same verse in my shop. I wish everyone a day full of peace of mind and heart. And just for kicks, here's a picture of my 2 loves.....
Two individuals who help me keep my focus in life, my wonderful husband & our girl Bailey! |
You are so right! We do get so busy with "things" that we forget to stop and listen. Thank you for this post.
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice post, very inspirational and right on target!
ReplyDeleteAmen! That is one of my favorite verses. :-)
ReplyDeleteI agreee, most of the times we react rather than act!
ReplyDeleteLove the picture! Bailey (2/3 of the couch:D) looks terribly flattering by the lighting conditions!
Nice post! Lovely and cute dog!
ReplyDeleteLeah - I am nothing if I do not walk humbly with our Lord.

Amen, Leah...we need to stop and smell the roses once in awhile....the hussle and bussle of life really gets overwhelming at times.
ReplyDeleteI love that verse, so true!
ReplyDeleteWe really do need to take a step back and a long look at what we are doing. It's easy to become so involved in things that the really important elements are lost.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the reminder.
I like that verse very much along with the pics of your loved ones.
ReplyDeleteSo true! Its hard for me to stop and enjoy also.
ReplyDeleteVery inspirational!

ReplyDeleteThanks everyone! And yes, Bailey thinks she is an 85 lb lap dog who deserves 3/4 of whatever seat we are on! LOL.
