How quick we grow....
My son was 8 weeks old yesterday. He is already out of the newborn clothes and most of the 0-3 month items, wearing true 3 month clothing items. Everyone says "they grow quick" and I am witnessing firsthand how true this is. It is truly amazing how we grow from the littlest seeds in our mother's wombs into rapidly changing growing complex human beings! My son's name is Tobias, which means "God is good." As a mom watching my son grow, I really don't believe there could be a truer statement. God is good!

However, I broke most of the blood vessels in my eyes, face and chest while pushing, something that I was unaware could happen. Despite the initial "halloween" appearance (something that has greatly improved now just over a week later), in the end it is definitely all well worth it. I'm a MOM! And I love my little boy with all that I am, so much I tear up just writing this. Here he is:
